Inability to pay credit card installments upon retirement

Q: Dear team, It is appreciated if you could help on the matter below. I am an ex-pat. I have been working in Abu Dhabi for the last 10 years. I have been using credit cards since then. Last year in September 2018, I retired from my employment as I reached 60 years of age. I had some outstanding credit card payments which I have been paying from my savings till the last year, however, now I am in financial difficulties and I am not able to pay the amount of the installments. So in these cases will the banks restructure my loan and pause my payments for the time being till I can get a new job or else will I be sent to prison if being defaulted? Many thanks!

Issuing a new cheque to the landlord after selling property

Q: My old landlord has sold the property that I rented from them and has assigned the tenancy contract valid till July next year to the new owner. The second rental cheque is due in Jan 2019 which was on the previous landlord`s name and has been handed over to the new owner who is asking me to replace it with a cheque in his name. Please advise, as per the law, am I liable to provide the replacement cheque to the new owner?

س: سيدي العزيز، أنهت الشركة عقد العمل الخاص بي مؤخرًا حيث عملت معهم لمدة عام و6 أشهر بموجب عقد محدد المدة. كنت أعمل في مجموع 6 شركات؛ 4 منها تابعة لصاحب العمل واثنتين لزوجته وبنته (عقد العمل لشركة واحدة فقط). عندي أكثر من 14 إيميل شكر من صاحب العمل، وتم إنهاء عقد العمل بشكل مفاجئ بسبب خلاف شخصي بتاريخ 15/09/2019. الراتب 14.000 درهم. أردت أن أعرف إذا كنت أستحق الحصول على تعويض عن فسخ العقد محدد المدة + الفصل التعسفي. مع الشكر والتقدير!

How to prevent husband from visiting his son while a divorce case is filed?

Q: My husband moved out of my house and he is coming to the house every day to visit his son without notifying me. His visit timings were 9 pm - 10 pm when we are all about to sleep. I`ve told him he can`t keep on coming late at night but he ignored me. I am a working mom from 9-6 pm. Our divorce case has been filed by me and we already attended 2 conciliation sessions without reaching an agreement. I don`t like these visitations at home especially the timings he wanted but he is just doing what he wants. Is there any way I can get restricted child visitation now since our case has no judgment yet? I asked him to get a court order for visitation, but he doesn`t seem to care. How can I restrict him from coming to my house? If I don`t open the door, he will call the police. Thank you for your advice!
