Resigning and leaving to home country without visa cancellation
Q: Dear Sir, I worked for a company with an unlimited contract as an archives clerk for almost 7 months. I resigned from my job due to an emergent court case in my country without giving notice period and asked them to cancel as early as possible but in vain. I left the country without cancellation. I sent all my court documents to my company to prove that my exit was an emergency. My question is: if I come back before the six-month period ends for visa cancellation, what consequences I could face as per the labour law?

Due benefits upon the end of a limited labour contract term
Q: My contract is expiring and I informed my employer that I won`t be continuing. My contract is a Limited contract. The offer that I singed states that I am eligible for a ticket if I completed my 2 years. Since I am not continuing, does it mean that I am not eligible for the ticket? Q: Do I still have the right to receive my gratuity if I have resigned by email in the first week of Feb 2020? I was unable to serve notice period and I am no longer in the UAE? Coming back to the UAE after accepting a plea for mercy
Q: I got charged with possession of drugs, 2 years ago, and executed my judgment 10 months ago (deportation). I applied to the Ruler’s Court for amnesty, to get acquitted of the crime, and have my record cleared. In February 2020, my wishes came true. The Ruler`s Court has accepted my plea for mercy and has cleared the deportation and record. I would like to know how do I proceed to come back to the UAE and whether any issues will arise if I do go back. Would I get detained again?

Paying the outstanding rent to withdraw the case
Q: Hi, I have lived in my current apartment for 14 years. This year in Jan 2020, I called the office to ask for my new rent details from 1st Jan 2020 to 31 Dec. They told me that I was having a court case as I didn`t pay last year`s rent. I handed over 4 cheques in 2019, but I didn`t wait for a receipt and never went to collect my tenancy agreement as I haven`t done for almost 2 years. They always handle things and I trust them. It turns out no rent cheques were cashed for 2019, no one in the office can find the cheques, no tenancy was signed and no one contacted me in a year. I assumed that the cheques were going to be deducted from my account. What can I do? Thanks!
