Q: Please advise on the following: My name appears in a criminal case and because of that, I can not get a police clearance. But there were no charges against me, and accordingly no judgment for me. Can I convert the local share contribution of a company to 100% foreign ownership?
Q: I am an Indian expatriate resident in Dubai and I have a mainland general trading LLC company with a 51% local sponsor (my partner visa is also on this company). I want to convert it to 100% owned by me and my wife. An LSA agreement is not required in the case of an LLC company. Can I still have an LSA agreement to protect the interest of the sponsor? Alternatively, what if I give a 1% share to the sponsor, is this a kind of protection? What happens if the sponsor dies?

Q: Hi, Good day. My visa is sponsored by my husband (husband visa) and valid till 2022, but my husband found another job. Refusing to pay the dues claiming that the employee caused financial loss
Q: Hello Sir, I worked in a private organization in Dubai. I canceled my visa 10 months back. During my visa cancellation, I didn`t get my end-of-service settlement. My original settlement amount was 108k, but after negotiation, they offered me 52K and gave me a letter stating they owe me 52K for my pending salary and end of service benefits. But after my cancellation, they always said that they will clear my dues shortly. I waited for 10 months, then I filed a labor complaint. During the amicable discussion with MOHRE, my owner said that he will not pay me because I made a financial loss to the company. I didn`t make any loss to the company. Can he make any fake documents to show his loss against me? Kindly advise on how should I approach the court to solve my problem.Sep 7, 2021

How to remove travel ban after closing a case for an accident on work site
Q: Good Morning Sir/Madam My name is S. and I am working in safety. There was a fatality at my site and a worker died. I was in Al Rashidiya police station and was released after two days after my passport was kept in the station. After two years, the police called us and informed us to collect the passport. The police prosecution didn`t give any other documents but released our passport and said no more case. Q: Hello, I represent a tech-based marketplace company registered in a Freezone, in the UAE. This is in regards to the UAE`s law regarding the ownership of code when there is no clause mentioned in the agreement. One of our products (web application) is being developed by an agency in the UAE. While we do have agreements in place, there is no clause regarding ownership of code. Q: Hi, I am from the Philippines and stay in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I have delivered my 2-month-old baby girl. My husband is an Egyptian. He abandoned me and my daughter. Q: Dear Sir/ Madam, I was offered to work in the construction field of industry. I was on an unlimited contract and my contract has a Non-Compete clause. On that, it mentioned the period of 1 year and location. My question is, my duties and work now are not related to the scope of work or industry of my visa. My job responsibility now is related to construction but on my contract, I am on a logistics company visa. This is because my employer has 3 companies under his sponsorship (construction/logistics/trading).
