Mother's reunification with daughters while there is a divorce process
Q: Hi, I am a Muslim mother of two daughters, aged 3 and 6. I am in the process of a divorce and my husband has taken my daughters away from me, despite my legal custody of them. I reached out to the authorities, but when I saw my daughters one month later, they refused to come with me. My husband and his childless aunt have manipulated them. I have a good record as a good mother, I work, provide for my daughters, and they have great school records. We participate in many activities. The father is a drug addict and has been in psychiatric care several times (a report will be provided as the court has officially requested it). Additionally, he has not paid for the children`s welfare since 2020 and there is an arrest warrant against him. He left the marital home 2 and a half years ago. What should I do to get my daughters back? The aunt is also taking pictures and videos and sending them to social media without my consent as the legal custodian. Can I sue her for this?

What to do if the bank is taking money without resolving my case?
Q: Hi We had a case against us by a bank for a loan (claim amount 236000.00 AED) for which we paid a legal fee of AED 25000.00 to the bank along with the outstanding claim amount as per judgment. After two months we received a court order to pay AED 10000.00 as a court fee. Please advise who should be paying the court fee as we have paid AED 25000.00 to the bank already as a legal fee. Q: I have not received my salary for the last 3 months. Now I got a job offer from another company. Then, I mailed the resignation letter with a 1 month`s notice period. But as per my employment contract, the notice period is 3 months. 3 months` salary is already pending now. Do I have to give another 3 months` notice period? Can I resign with one month`s notice period? Because the new employer has only allowed 1 month. What will I do?

Will my visa as property owner be canceled if I stay more than one year outside the UAE?
Q: I`m a 63-year-old British National holding two apartments in Dubai; as such, I qualified for a Visa. My understanding was I could be out of the country for one year without returning, however, I`ve exceeded one year by 25 days (return should have been on 6 Jan 2023). Does this mean my visa will be canceled? Or can I pay some sort of fine at the airport? The Visa is valid until 01/10/2026. So obviously, I don`t want to lose it. My visa used to be an investor’s visa, but now I think it`s a retirement visa. It can be sent if requested. Can the buyer prevent the seller from selling his property if he could not get a loan?
