Credit card fraud: Bank threatens travel ban and civil case

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I need some advice. I had a credit card that I cleared when I learned about the acquisition of the bank by another one. After settling all my dues, I kept the card at home and stopped using it. However, I experienced a fraudulent transaction on my card, amounting to close to 32,000 AED. When I received a message from the bank with an OTP, knowing that I did not initiate the transaction, I immediately called the bank to block the card. They asked me to file a dispute, which I did, and they assured me that the transaction would be stopped since the card was blocked. Unfortunately, two days later, on October 19, 2020, the money was deducted from my account. After the acquisition, the bank advised me to fill out the dispute forms again and file a police report, which I did. I have kept all records from day one until now, which has been almost 2.5 years. However, the bank is now sending me an email about imposing a travel ban and a civil case.

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My rental contract ends in November 2023, but my landlord has sold the apartment. Also, she sent me a notice in November 2022 to vacate in November 2023. My questions are: - Do I need to have a contract with the new landlord to hand over new cheques to him? Or a written document at least? He is asking me just to give him the cheques. - If he does not wish to renew my contract in November 2023, when and how shall he communicate that to me? How can I appeal a case if I missed the hearing and defending myself?

Q: I had a misdemeanor case in Dubai last January 28, 2023, then I was released on January 30 after a judge hearing. Now the judge asks me to submit a translated Arabic appeal letter for my explanation and seek help from the police officers. Unfortunately, no one can help me and assist me. They just released me the same day right away after the hearing without submitting my appeal. Then, they told me to wait for a call from Dubai Courts. Unfortunately, after waiting, no one called me so I followed up after a couple of days, but still no one replied to me. I even mailed the Dubai Police and they just said it was forwarded already to the HQ. I have to wait for a call. 2 weeks ago I received a call from them from Barsha telling me that I have to go to Dubai Courts. Then when I checked online, I found out that there is already a final judgment of 1 month of jail and deportation. Ma`am/Sir, I need to defend myself and submit an appeal because I have valid reasons why things happened at that time.
