Exiting a property purchase and seeking refund from the developer
A client has entered into a contract for purchasing a property in instalments.
The company had refused to give him a contract to sign, refused to assign him a representative and in turn, he has defaulted on at least one instalment.
He wants to exit the contract but the company would not refund his deposit. What are his rights?

Dear,
You may file a civil case for the refund if the company has not provided you with the contract.
Moreover, if the property is situated in Dubai and the developer has failed to register Oqood under your name, then you may also use the ground for a refund.
Further, there might be some other factors involved which may be helpful for filing case. However, for an appropriate advice, we need to review the documents.
