How can I complain about a salon with no license?
Hi,
How can I complain about a salon with no license?
Everything in the salon is not clean, not sterilized, and they also keep one staff member without an ID.
I mean, she is overstaying, but she is still working.
Hello,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention!
Based on the issues you've described—such as the salon operating without a license, poor hygiene standards, and employing staff without valid identification or legal status—there are several legal avenues available for reporting under UAE law.
You may file a formal complaint with the Department of Economic Development (DED) or use the "Dubai Consumer" app.
For hygiene-related concerns, contact Dubai Municipality at 800 900.
In cases involving illegal or overstaying workers, you can report the matter to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) and to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
Please ensure you have relevant details such as the salon’s name, location, and any supporting evidence (e.g. photos or videos) to assist with the investigation.
If you require further legal assistance or support in drafting the complaint, we would be happy to assist you during a formal consultation.
Best regards,
