After leaving the country, I met the doctor and he said it will take more than 4 months to recover after physiotherapy sessions. In the meantime, I called up my company and informed them about my medical condition and told them to cancel the visa, as I don't want to work anymore and instead I want to start a business in the UAE after my recovery. The main concern now is the company does not want to cancel my visa and also harassing me. They will put on me some kind of legal case. Please advise, how can I move forward. Q: I was working in one company which is in Hamriyah Free Zone. My visa is stamped on 10 June 2018. I went on emergency leave on 12 Oct, and since then I have not returned to work.
