Checking the status of a labour case and counter-criminal complaint

Q: Hi, I work in Dubai for six months on an unlimited contract. Then suddenly my employer cut my salary by AED 1000 for the two previous months. I filed a complaint with TASHEEL and transferred it to MOHRE. We already did face-to-face meeting but there's no conciliation. The Local transferred my case to Dubai court. Then my employer suddenly filed a case against me for the loss of money at the company. I already filed the labour case and there is no schedule for hearing between me and the employer. It is already 10 working days since I filed the labour case. What should I do next?

Labor case and counter criminal case filed by the employer

Q: My Ex-boss gave me a General POA. He personally owes me AED 300,000 and 12 months of salary as well. One fine day he left the country. I had to file a labour case to get my visa cancelled. Later, the boss told me to take one of his cars (in his personal name) and transfer it to my name and adjust the value of it (AED 25,000) to his personal loan that he owes me. Now, I won my labour case against him and the execution is in process. He has filed a criminal case against me claiming I took the car without his consent. He is doing this through a lawyer as he is not in the country for a year. Will this criminal case affect me? How can I prove my innocence?

Claiming the end of service benefits from the previous employer

Q: Hi. I resigned from a company 8 months back but I didn't get my settlement and pending salary, and I was asked to sign the settlement paper for visa cancellation. Since I was about to join another company, I signed the paper and wrote an email to the HR saying that I'm yet to get my settlement when I left the company. It's been 8 months and I registered a complaint against them. They are saying that they will put a criminal against me saying that I stole materials and I used to get commission from suppliers and subcontractors, which is not true. From my side, I have two disputes even though I have not got any money from anybody and I have not stolen as claimed by them. 1. I was planning to start a business with one of my subcontractors and I abandoned that plan. My company is aware of that. 2. I accepted one of my subcontractor's invoice bill before the LPO was issued to them as instructed by my project manager.

Forcing the employer to cancel the visa after termination

Q: Good evening, My employer sent me a 'stop working' letter on 23.10.2019 awaiting investigation on wrongdoings in the company. My visa expired on 13.11.2019 and they haven't decided either to renew or cancel my visa. Please note that no one has interviewed me, investigated with me nor interrogated me about anything. The salary of November 2019 should have been paid as per Tawafuq legal department. They also advised me that the stop working letter is only valid for 10 days. Hi, I need some guidance regarding a property transaction that is not progressing as expected. My broker initiated a manual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between me (the Buyer) and the Seller, with an expiry date of 01/02/2025. Within this period, I successfully arranged the bank mortgage, property evaluation, and NOC. However, the broker started giving excuses, such as the seller being hospitalized. Later, the broker attempted to arrange a Power of Attorney (POA). However, after that, they started ignoring my messages and calls. It now seems like they no longer intend to proceed with me, and the MOU has already expired. Meanwhile, my bank EMI has already started, and I have paid two monthly installments. The broker is still unresponsive. I have raised multiple complaints through DLD RVS against the broker, but the response has been very slow and unsatisfactory. What can I do with the contractor I paid to build my house and disappeared before completion?

Hey, I'm building my house in Dubai, and it was going well. I gave the contractor 420k as a first payment, and we both agreed that the rest would be in installments. Just two months ago, the contractor went off the grid, and I can't find him.
