Q: I have a Najm credit card, I used to do a minimum payment every month. I am working for a company for the past 2 years. I am not getting salary on time I used to get salary after every 2 or 3 months. I did them a minimum payment but late by arranging for one or another. I came to know that there is a final settlement for the credit card where you can pay a fixed amount every month. I requested them for the past 6 months but they didn't help me. Also, I came to know that they have put my salary of 11500 but I am getting a salary of 5000/-. Every month they are torturing me, for that can you help me with this. They also say they will deposit my security cheque and file a police complaint. This time when I went to meet one of the people for Najm card, I told him about my situation but they are not ready to listen. He gave me two options, either to pay 18500/- in one stroke or 20500/- in 2 instalments

Q: I unintentionally left the UAE in 2016 due a to family emergency with an unpaid credit card and a few loans. Since I have got confirmed by a Dubai based colleague that I have a police case already for bounced cheques cases. How do I go about the settlement from outside the UAE? I have heard of the fines imposed as well as bounced cheque criminal case has been demoted to a minor misdemeanour in Dubai. Involved banks are ADCB (loan of 120k), FGB (credit card - 70k), ENBD (credit card - 20k), HSBC (credit card - 13k) and CITIBANK (loan of 31k). Thank you for your help. Please advise on the action that I can take to settle my issue without going to Dubai, UAE.

Q: Can someone renew his residency visa if a civil case is filed against him? I had a criminal case last year (June 2018) due to bounced cheque (credit card issue). I have not paid the fine yet of AED 10,000. My visa renewal is due on May 2019. I don't know if the bank has filed a civil case already.

Actually one of my friends took from my card these amounts and he told me he will return back, but he cheated me. Now he told me he will sell his land in India and give me back. Q: Dear Sir, I had a credit card with a bank (Islamic card). The limit is 36k and the guarantee cheque I signed mentions the same amount 36k only. Now as I am not paying and the bank is telling me they will file a civil case and travel ban on me. I want to contest as when I took the card the charge was only 340 per month now since 2019 they increased it to 1250 per month and I paid the same until November 2022.
