Q: Hi.
Regarding the delayed payments of a credit card, as per the collection agency, a police case was filed last Dec 2017.
Kindly advise me on which service I should better take. I need to travel also but I want to know if it's in the court already.
I got confused with these services. Do I take the check for travel ban and warrant of arrest or check for court case filed against me?

Bank collection requesting full loan payment from a terminated employee
5
Q: Good Day.
I'm Johny Vivek Micheal.
I was working in the UAE from September 2014, and unfortunately, I have been terminated by the company and I have dues for the RAK bank.
Regarding those payments, I'm paying my monthly dues even though I was threatened by an agency from India that I have to pay my full amount or else they will go for a legal action.
What should I do?

Bank request to convert the bank account after leaving the UAE
2
Q: Hi Harry,
I'm lucky you are online.
I'm a GCC citizen and worked in the UAE until a few years ago and went back home. I still have a housing loan which I have been paying instalments regularly.
The bank called me and asked why my salary was not being deposited into my account for the last 3 years.
When I told them I had left, they insisted I go to them and they change my account from a salaried to an international account and in the meantime, my account would be frozen.
I'm worried if I go back they will force me to accept higher payments when the account is converted and I desperately need advice on how to deal with this.
Can they put a travel ban on me if I don't agree to pay a higher rate?

Can the bank catch him and get it from India? Can they file a case in India and attach his property?

The procedures of appealing a UAE court order in India
0
Q: I had some credit card loans unsettled when I left the UAE 7 years ago, but promptly, I was paying instalments when I was there.
Now if the UAE bank brings the civil case verdict to India (now the verdict can be executed in India), can I go for appeal in the higher courts of India against this verdict which was issued in the UAE, because this verdict had been given in my absence?
So I need a fair trial again in India in the high court. Is it possible?

Suing a foreign bank in UAE courts while all agreements are signed abroad

Q: If a UAE resident (natural person) signs a loan agreement (simple Lombard loan agreement with the pledge of securities at the same bank) with another jurisdiction bank (e.g. in a European Union country like Austria), and if a conflict occurs between the bank and the UAE resident natural person in the future, could he sue the bank in UAE court jurisdictions even though all loan agreement documents signed in Austria by just referring Austrian court jurisdictions at the loan agreement and even though his financial assets are invested and pledged at an Austrian bank account?
Best regards,

How to convince the bank to reschedule personal loan payments?
0
Q: Hi,
I have an ongoing personal loan with a bank, the current outstanding principal amount is AED 80,000/. This is through my salary account and until today, I haven’t missed even a single payment.
Here, I have requested my bank to reschedule the current outstanding principal amount which is AED 80,000/- over 4 years of tenure but they have rejected my request and provided me with a reason that my Etihad Bureau Scores are low.
I have explained to them about the previous scenarios where I wasn’t able to pay on time for my credit bills and there were some other late payments related to the telecommunication.
Long story short, They are not providing me with any assistance. As of now, for me; paying an EMI of AED 4,800 every single month seems very difficult.
Please advise.

View allI secured a mortgage from the bank and the broker kept delaying until the MOU expired. What to do? 0
Hi,
I need some guidance regarding a property transaction that is not progressing as expected.
My broker initiated a manual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between me (the Buyer) and the Seller, with an expiry date of 01/02/2025. Within this period, I successfully arranged the bank mortgage, property evaluation, and NOC.
However, the broker started giving excuses, such as the seller being hospitalized. Later, the broker attempted to arrange a Power of Attorney (POA).
However, after that, they started ignoring my messages and calls. It now seems like they no longer intend to proceed with me, and the MOU has already expired.
Meanwhile, my bank EMI has already started, and I have paid two monthly installments. The broker is still unresponsive. I have raised multiple complaints through DLD RVS against the broker, but the response has been very slow and unsatisfactory.
I’m feeling stuck and financially burdened.
Please advise

What can I do with the contractor I paid to build my house and disappeared before completion? 0
Hey,
I'm building my house in Dubai, and it was going well.
I gave the contractor 420k as a first payment, and we both agreed that the rest would be in installments. Just two months ago, the contractor went off the grid, and I can't find him.
All I have is a security cheque that bounced back when I went to the bank, as the signature doesn't match what's in the file.
However, I learnt that he does have money, but not the amount that's in the cheque.
What should I do now to get my money back?
I need advice.
