Time limitation for suing the employer for the non-payment of dues

I made an agreement with my previous employer that my outstanding dues will be paid to me by the employer after one year from the cancellation of my visa.

Now two years have passed but I did not receive my pending dues.

What to do?

Please advise.

Dear,

AS per the law in the UAE, any complaint has to be filed in the Labour Court within one year from the due date.

It is clear that your employer did not have the intention to pay you and so he got the agreement signed.

In such a situation, the only option is to proceed for a civil case based on that agreement.
