Claiming EOSB after termination and leaving the UAE

Dear Sir/Madam,

I continuously worked for a company in Abu Dhabi for 8 years. My contract was terminated last March 18.

My gratuity has not been paid since then as the company kept stalling me by promising to pay it in my home country.

I deeply regret trusting them. I am currently working outside the UAE and it had been more than 1 year after the termination of my contract.

Given the above, can you please tell me what rights do I have at the moment?

I would like to inform you about the end of service benefits:

  • One month salary for the notification period.
  • End of service benefits
  • You deserve the amount of full salary of a month for each year you worked for them.
  • Annual leave allowance
  • Flight ticket allowance
  • Compensation - a salary of three months (according to Article 122 and 123).

All that is stated must be calculated according to your salary mentioned in your employment contract.

You can file a labour case against them in order to get your rights. If you have more questions don't hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your answer.

My only concern is that it had been more than 1 year, so can I still file a case?
