I have a civil case and a travel ban in Dubai. Can I come back to the UAE if I apply for a UAE visit visa?

I have a civil case in Dubai and a travel ban imposed to leave the country, no arrest warrant.

I have a few questions:

Can I come back to the UAE if I apply for a UAE visit visa? Will I be able to get a visa or not, as I do not have an entry ban?

The decision by the honourable judge has been made that 1/4 of my salary will be deducted.

Can I go to other GCC countries, such as Qatar or Saudi Arabia, for job purposes, or will I have issues there?

Regards

Yes, you can do that, and there is no problem as long as there is no arrest warrant issued against you.

Hi,

I have checked the court system, and there is no arrest warrant issued.

While you state there's no entry ban, the existing travel ban within the UAE significantly impacts visa applications.

UAE immigration systems are interconnected. When a travel ban is active in their system, it can trigger red flags during visa processing.

The salary deduction order within the UAE might not automatically trigger issues in Qatar or Saudi Arabia. The restrictions will be limited only in the UAE.

If you need further clarification, you may ask.

Thank you for your message.

We understand you have a civil case in Dubai with a travel ban, but no arrest warrant, and a judgment for salary deduction.

If there is no entry ban, you may still be able to apply for a UAE visit visa, though approval depends on the case details.

As for other GCC countries like Qatar or Saudi Arabia, travel is usually possible, but each country has its own rules, so issues cannot be fully ruled out.

We recommend a consultation to give you the best advice. We offer a 15-minute free online consultation to discuss this in more detail.

Dear questioner

If there is a travel ban, then you cannot come without removing that in the UAE.

If the amount in default is huge, only then will it affect your visit with other GCC nations.

If you need more details, kindly share your WhatsApp number.

Dear A.,

Thank you for your inquiry. To confirm whether you have a travel ban in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE, we can assist you with a comprehensive check for civil and criminal cases.

Required Steps:

Before we can initiate the legal process of a travel ban check, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) to represent you before government authorities and police stations. To facilitate the notarization of the POA, please provide the following documents:

- A copy of your old and new passports

- A copy of your visa

- A copy of your Emirates ID

Once we receive these documents by email, we will draft the POA in both English and Arabic and send it to you for review, signature, and return.

Afterward, the POA will be submitted to the federal Notary Public for notarization. The notary will provide a link for a remote meeting with you, during which your original passport will be verified, and you will sign electronically.

Costs and Process:

- Notary Fees: USD 165 (paid directly to the notary). You will receive a digital copy of the notarized POA.

- Legal Fees for Travel Ban Check: USD 325. Once the notarized POA is received, we will check the UAE criminal record system for any criminal cases, travel bans, arrest warrants, or execution files registered against your name. This process typically takes about four working days.

We are here to assist you every step of the way. Please let us know if you have any questions or require further clarification.

Sincerely,

Mohammad Salah

We are a legal firm specializing in civil cases and travel bans in the UAE.

1. You can apply for a visit visa to the UAE if you don’t have an official entry ban. If the ban is only for leaving the country, there should be no legal obstacle to applying for a visa.

2. The judge’s decision to deduct a quarter of your salary must be followed, and there is no legal issue as long as the judgment has been issued.

3. Regarding traveling to other GCC countries like Qatar or Saudi Arabia, there should be no legal issues unless there is a comprehensive travel ban that affects your entry into those countries.

We are here to assist you in taking the necessary legal steps to resolve any issues you may face.

If my response was helpful, please consider rating our service positively to help us improve the quality of our services.

We are honored to provide you with specialized legal support for your case.

If you have any further inquiries regarding your matter, we would be happy to assist you.

Can I come back to the UAE if I apply for a UAE visit visa? Will I be able to get a visa or not, as I do not have an entry ban?

You can come, but you will be arrested at the airport upon arrival, and you will be transferred to the concerned court that issued the order, or you may be released on bail to enable you to approach the court personally and find a way to remove the ban.

Can I go to other GCC countries, such as Qatar or Saudi Arabia, for job purposes, or will I have issues there?

No, unless:

- The UAE files an Interpol Red Notice (rare for civil debts, common for fraud/bounced cheques).

- The GCC country shares a security database with the UAE (some do for serious crimes).

Dear Client

If you have a civil case and an active travel ban in the UAE, your ability to re-enter or obtain a visit visa depends on the nature of the ban:

1. Visit Visa Eligibility:

- A travel ban typically prevents exit/entry until resolved. If the ban is exit-only (no entry restrictions), you may still apply for a UAE visit visa. However, entry bans linked to unpaid debts or unresolved cases often result in visa rejection.

- Recommendation: Verify your ban type via Dubai Police’s online portal or Estafser e-service before applying.

2. GCC Employment Considerations:

- UAE travel bans do not automatically apply to other GCC countries. However, GCC nations share security databases, and unresolved financial obligations in the UAE may affect employment visa approvals in Qatar/Saudi Arabia.

3. Salary Deduction Compliance:

- Ensure monthly salary deductions (25%) are processed as per the court order. Non-compliance may escalate penalties or extend the travel ban.

Action Steps:

- Resolve the Civil Case: Settle outstanding obligations to lift the ban.

- Verify Ban Status: Use Dubai Police’s online service or visit a station with your Emirates ID/passport.

- Consult Legal Counsel: Seek UAE-based legal advice to clarify re-entry prospects and GCC employment implications.

Hi Sir,

I have a financial cheque execution civil case.

I have a travel ban to exit the country, but to enter the country, no ban in the Dubai court system.

Once I am in the country and join the job, then I can pay 25% of the salary.
