Inspection of police records for leaving Dubai with credit card debts

Hello.

I am soon returning to Dubai where I have secured a job. I was working in Abu Dhabi until last October.

I returned to the UK, but have an outstanding balance on my credit card which I haven't been able to pay.

I have called the bank and explained, that due to no work, I am in this position. I have also emailed the bank.

My question is, will I be arrested when I return to Dubai, because of my default on the card?

Very nervously thanking you.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for reaching out to me on this.

I understand your nervousness and it is legitimate of you to be so considering the legal system in the UAE.

I suggest that in your case you ought to take inspection of immigration/ police record to understand if there are any cases against you and if any you ought to redress the same before travelling.

This inspection will give you complete information on cases if any so that you are fully prepared before travelling.

I can assist you in conducting this inspection. You can email me your passport and old visa copy on hari.wadhwana@gmail.com.

I trust you will find this appropriate.

Regards,

Hari Wadhwana
