Legal status in case of getting pregnant before marriage

Good day, Mr Naser,

I want to inquire regarding Article 91 of Law 28 of 2005.

I got pregnant in November 2018 and immediately got married last December 2018.

Am I allowed to give birth here in the UAE without getting any problem or court case?

My due date is in August 2019.

Appreciate your kind advice.

Yes, if you have the attested marriage certificate then you can deliver here in the UAE.

The document needs to be attested by your home country and MOFA here in the UAE. If you have that, then it should not be a problem.

Upon relevant documentation, you can provide the same to the hospital where the delivery is scheduled.
