Cancellation of SEWA connection from outside the UAE
I had lost my job in the month of Oct 2018 and went out of the UAE after the cancellation of my visa, but I didn't cancel my SEWA connection because I paid complete one year rent to house owner and my brother was there with me.
Now, the housing contract will be over at the end of Feb 2019. So, kindly advise how can I close the SEWA connection without my presence. Or what is the procedure of POA?

You may give a power of attorney to your brother or a friend, whoever is over here to act on your behalf.
The time period prescribed is 3 days and one day for urgent cancellation. AED 200 would be separately charged for urgent cancellation. You shall submit the following documents:-
1. Original Clearance Certificate from Sharjah Municipality.
2. Original Deposit Payment Receipt.
3. Copy of the Customer’s Emirates ID.
AEE 100 is charged as disconnection fee as well.
