According to UAE law, mediation is not a mandatory step before imposing a travel ban in civil and financial cases.

However, the court may suggest mediation as a means of resolving the dispute before proceeding with any legal action.

The decision to impose a travel ban will ultimately depend on the court's discretion and the circumstances of the case.

Hello,

Mediation can be used in all disputed matters, subject to a few exceptions.

Each charge is evaluated to determine whether it is appropriate for mediation considering such factors as the nature of the case, the relationship of the parties, the complexity of the cases, and the relief sought by the parties.

This does not necessarily mean there will be mediation before a travel ban is imposed. It is imposed by court order and the judge may decide travel ban without prior mediation in certain circumstances.
