Adultery or affair is a ground for divorce not compensation

My husband email was open on my computer and I found out he is having a relationship with someone else and I even have her whole contact and name information.

Can I claim in court against her for ruining my marriage relationship?

All the time my husband lies that he works in Abu Dhabi and leaves us alone to spend time with her.

Please let us know your religion and nationality.

Having an affair by means of conversation is different from having sex outside marriage which is adultery. Adultery is a criminal offense.

Under the UAE Laws of evidence, all written correspondences are considered as evidence and need to be printed and translated by legal translators in order to be submitted to the court as evidence.

But in the Family Courts, be it an affair or adultery, it is important to support your allegations by two male witnesses besides evidence of photos or any correspondence.

Therefore, if you wish you can seek the help of a counsellor or file for a divorce.

Actually, I'm American but Muslim and my husband and his girlfriend are Egyptian. I didn't see if they had sex or not.

And I don't wanna make an issue for my husband, just that woman. Even having an emotional relationship with her that I found out ruined our marriage.

But because he is financially responsible for our son, I don't want them to put him in jail then he loses his job.

I just wanna claim against that woman.

You cannot file a case only against the girlfriend; the charges will be against both of them. If found guilty both of them will be deported.
