Ex-wife hasn't left the UAE after the divorce. Should I file for her absconding?

Dear Sir/Madam,

My divorce was finalized in the UAE, and her visa was canceled, giving her 60 days to leave. However, I discovered that she hasn't left or converted her visa.

I checked with the typing center and found out about the fine. I tried calling her, but she was not responding. Should I file for her absconding?

Hello,

Since your wife hasn't departed the UAE after visa cancellation and isn't responding, filing an absconding report is recommended to inform the authorities of her overstay and relieve you of sponsorship obligations.

Additionally, if there are any visa-related fines, you can inquire about the payment process at the typing center or GDRFA office.

If you need any clarification regarding this, kindly share your WhatsApp number for further discussion.
