Can the bank hold my EOSB after submitting all the documents for the new job?
Hello,
My EOSB from my previous employer was credited and kept on hold by my bank, though my new employment documents were updated within the timeframe.
Still, the gratuity amount was adjusted to the loan without my consent.
Is it legal to do so?
In addition to the above, instead of adjusting the amount from my gratuity, they deducted it from my available funds which I have access to without informing me.

Dear questioner
Banks cannot deduct any amount from your gratuity or your available funds without your consent.
Enquire with the bank through the mail for a reasonable explanation of this.
If the bank does not provide a satisfactory reply, then you can file a complaint with the Central Bank of the UAE.
