Questions & Answers
How to defend a revenge case raised by a client company that refuses to pay our fees?
I run a technical services LLC company in Dubai. A construction company had not paid us our work payment. So I left the work and made a court case for the recovery but my case was refused by the court.
Now that the company revengefully made a false court case against my company and is claiming recovery of 70000 dirhams because of leaving work, today is my hearing.
I already stopped all work in my company due to huge losses. My trade license is already expired and my visa is about to expire on 11.3.24. I will cancel my visa also.
In this condition, what should I do?
Please advise and help me.

Dear Questioner,
Thanks for your message.
Regarding your inquiry, it is important to consult with us in this situation, as we will be able to provide you with specific legal advice based on your individual case.
However, in general, if the court has already refused your case for recovery of payment, you may need to consider other options such as mediation or arbitration to resolve the dispute with the construction company.
It is also important to ensure that you have all the necessary documentation and evidence to support your case.
If your trade license has expired and you have canceled your visa, you may not have any legal standing to continue with the case.
Again, it is best to consult with us for specific advice on how to proceed in your situation.
Kindly do not hesitate to contact us.
Greetings,

Dear questioner
Please attend to the case and deal with the matter without further loss, in the same case you can submit your counterclaim once again over your losses due to nonpayment.
Meanwhile, you can attempt to cancel the visa and trade license, otherwise, it will invite fines. No false claims will stand in court if you can provide ample evidence towards their contentions.
