If no assets are found, can the court reject the bankruptcy case?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I got approval for bankruptcy proceedings as a trader.
If, in the court expert report, no money or assets are found for liquidation, can this lead to the court rejecting the bankruptcy case, as there will be nothing to give to creditors?
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.
If the court-appointed expert report finds no assets or finances to liquidate in bankruptcy, it could affect the case.
The court may dismiss the bankruptcy case if there are no assets to distribute to creditors and no viable way to settle their claims.
However, bankruptcy rules and procedures differ by country, and each case's circumstances might affect the court's decision. Consult with us for personalized advice on how to proceed.
