Questions & Answers
Is it true that I have to be in the UAE for visa cancellation?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I joined a company in Dubai but left within a month and returned to my home country. My visa is not canceled.
Now, I have another job in Dubai, but my employer is asking me to come to Dubai to sign for the visa cancellation.
Is it true that I have to be in the UAE for visa cancellation, or is my employer tricking me?
Additionally, once the visa is canceled, how can I return to my home country without a visa?
Dear Questioner,
Actually, the employer can cancel your visa. There is no need for you to be present there for cancellation.
Even though your visa has been canceled, you have a grace period of at least 30 days to get into another visa or even exit the country.
If you need further clarification, we will arrange a legal consultation session for a charge.
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.
In the UAE, it is common for the visa holder to be physically present during the visa cancellation process, which may involve signing documents and providing biometrics.
To return to your home country legally, ensure that your previous visa is canceled properly. Communicate with your new employer's HR department to understand the specific procedures for visa cancellation in your situation.
