Effect of debts in a GCC country on travel ban in the UAE
I have a personal loan debt in Saudi Arabia. I am looking now to get a job in Dubai.
Will I be allowed to work in Dubai, as the money I will make will allow me then to pay back the debt in Saudi in full probably by the end of next year?
Please let me know if a travel ban in Saudi is applicable to other GCC countries like Dubai.
I really need some advice as I have been struggling to get a job and had to leave Saudi as I was gonna have my contract not renewed and had to process my divorce as well.
Thanks

Dear Questioner,
I understand that you have unpaid debts in KSA, however, you have not mentioned the amount or the bank from which you have availed loan as well.
I assume that your bank has already effected a travel ban against you in KSA.
However, such a ban would have an effect in the UAE only when the amounts are huge and the bank has taken the help of Interpol to blacklist you in different jurisdictions.
Small personal loans and credit card loans and travel related to such defaults in normal cases will not have any effect in other countries.
It is always recommendable to check and confirm the same to any countries before you travel.
Hope the above explanation is clarificatory in nature. If you need any further assistance feel free to contact me.
Thank you.
