Action against the developer of an off-plan project in Dubai
I have booked a villa in April 2017 and paid AED 131,000/-. Still waiting for possession and the villa is not ready.
The builder is asking for more AED 122000/- and I cannot trust them anymore.
Please advise.

I assume the location of the project is in Dubai.
In general, before purchasing any off-plan project please check if the developer, the project, and the project’s escrow account are all registered with RERA.
In your case, I hope you have a Sale and Purchase Agreement signed with your development in which the payment schedule, completion date and grace period...etc. are mentioned.
