If I test positive for HIV, what will the next steps be?

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.

If you test positive for HIV in the UAE, seek immediate medical treatment, as healthcare is available.

Your HIV status is confidential, and you're not legally obligated to disclose it to anyone.

Employment and residency should not be affected, and the UAE does not have specific travel restrictions for HIV-positive individuals.

Consult healthcare professionals for guidance.

For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.

We will be happy to help you.

Thanks & Regards,

ABDUL WAHIED

Dear Questioner,

Your employment visa will not be processed. Maybe there is a chance to deport you because of this reason.

Will they block my bank account and my personal belongings?

Also, the medical I’m appearing for is for my student visa for another country, but the test will be done in the UAE and I’m currently on an employment visa.

There is no provision to block your accounts. Just get updated with your employer.
