How can I check if there is an active POA under my name?

Hello,

How can I check if there is an active POA under my name?

I used a service that may have fraudulently created a POA and they have now closed the office & disappeared.

Thank you!

Dear Questioner,

You may revoke the POA.

The revocation of a Power of Attorney has to be in a written form, notarized, and delivered through registered mail or through bailiff of the Notary Public to your agent or any third parties with whom your agent has been in contact (e.g. your bank).

Hi,

You can visit any notary and check it by providing them with your Emirates ID no.

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.

To check for an active Power of Attorney (POA) under your name in the UAE, visit a Notary Public Office in the relevant emirate, provide your identification documents, and request a search for any registered POAs.

If one exists, they will provide details. If you suspect fraud, consult with us for guidance on the next steps.

For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.

We will definitely be happy to help you.

Thanks & Regards,
