Ensuring supplier compliance in the UAE: Which certifications matter?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our company, an automobile OEM located outside the UAE, intends to develop the market in MENA.

What certifications should we pay attention to when we enter negotiations with our parts suppliers (the locations of the suppliers are not the issue) under Dubai law or UAE law in general?

The goal is to ensure that our suppliers comply with all the laws and regulations in Dubai and the UAE.

The more detailed, the better.

Thank you!

Dear Questioner,

You can check for or pay attention to certifications like:

1) ESMA UAE - UAE Certificate of Conformity,

2) ISO9001 2015 (Quality management),

3) IATF 16949, OHSAS 18001, etc.

In addition to these certificates, you can also ask for their business licenses and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance.

For further clarification, we can arrange a consultation for a charge.
