The liability to pay bank loans after termination from job

I work for Etihad Airways. There are many terminations of jobs coming up and a lot of cabin crew members have loans.

Is Etihad the guarantor of our loans if we are terminated- as Etihad is a government company?

In the past, when a crew member used to leave, Etihad has assumed the debt. Is this still happening?

Normally, in such cases, any loans taken by a person are to the individual account.

A company would never guarantee loans taken by employees, so it is unusual that you claim that Etihad may have done this in the past.

If you do need help in negotiating with the banks for settlement or bounced cheque cases, you may write to us on advocate@alriyamiadvocates.com and we will be happy to assist you.
