Forcing the tenant to pay the penalty for overcrowded apartment
My tenant has been overcrowding the apartment and thus I have received 2 penalty fines from Trakhees.
The tenant agrees to pay but he is not paying, and the contract is due to finish in a couple of days.
How do I file a case against him to make him pay??

Dear Questioner,
Thank you for contacting me.
In the tenancy contract, if any penalty is mentioned upon violation of the terms, that penalty is to be paid by the tenant.
In the event of non-payment from the side of the tenant, you can make the payment and claim it legally even if the tenancy is expired.
Please feel free to contact if you need any further clarifications.
Regards,
Anitha Rajeev.
