Landlord serves eviction notice but no price set. Does notice still valid?
Hello,
Our landlord served us an eviction notice with an "intent to sell". We asked the agent for the asking price, as we would be interested in buying the property.
The agent said that the landlord will set a price a couple of months before our eviction because prices are increasing.
Does this cancel out their intent to sell at the time of serving the eviction notice, since at the moment they have no intent to sell?
Thanks!
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.
The "intent to sell" notice indicates the landlord's plan to sell the property, but the specific sale terms, including the asking price, can be determined later.

Hi,
Under UAE law, a landlord is not required to set an asking price for a property at the time of serving an eviction notice.
He can do that as per his wish and checking the market trend.
This does not anyway cancel out their intent to sell the property.
