The cost and procedure of registering a trademark in the UAE
Hi:
We are from China.
My client wants to register a trademark in the UAE and he is from China too, but he has a company in the UAE.
How much does it cost to register a trademark in the UAE, and what documents do we need?

Dear Questioner,
I sincerely congratulate you on your decision to register your trademark in the UAE and thereby reserving a safe business place over here.
Please note that you will have to present the following documents to register the trademark:-
1. Power of Attorney:- The power of attorney is to be signed by the applicant if the applicant is an individual, and signed by the authorized signatory and stamped with the company seal if the applicant is a company.
2. Print of the marks.
3. List of goods.
Please note that the validity of the registration in the UAE is 10 years from the date of filing, and is renewable for equal periods thereafter. The governement charges would be AED 14,000/-.
If you require any further clarification, please contact me.
Thank you.
