Q: PLEASE REPLY AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE

CHEQUE BOUNCE CASE (PERSONAL CHEQUE) IF AN INDIVIDUAL FILE A POLICE CASE
1) What will be the minimum jail terms for Cheque bounce case? During jail terms whether he will be on travel ban? During jail term whether he can come out of jail by giving somebody's passport as security? After completing the jail term whether he will be still on travel ban as he has not paid the money against the cheque? If he did not pay the money during police case, how can I get back the money?
2) When he is on jail terms during police case, whether we can proceed with the civil case for cheque bounce?
3) For proceeding civil case whether we have to deposit any amount to court?
Your valuable advice will be highly appreciable.
Thanks

Civil claim for the bounced cheque amount
10
Q: Hi there,
A person bounced a cheque on me for a considerable sum of money. I filed a police case and it went to court. The judge ruled on the 24th January and the accused was sent to jail. However, there was no part of the judgment compelling the accused to pay the money owed.
I believe I can take a civil case against the accused to get the money owed, but I don't know if this is correct or indeed how to go about doing this.
I would be most grateful for any adviсe.

Initiating bounced cheques proceedings to recover a debt
1
Q: Hello!
I lent money to my office colleague. As a guarantee, he gave me three blank cheques. He is no longer working for the same company. He, in fact, is looking for a new job.
It's been two years and he hasn't paid anything. Not sure if I'll deposit the cheque mentioning the amount he borrowed, definitely the cheque will bounce back.
I came to know from my other colleagues that if the cheque gets bounced back, the case will go to the court.
If the court sees that he is unable to pay, they'll write off this amount and he might be sent to prison for few weeks and I'll no longer be eligible to ask him for the money.
Can you please assist on what I should get legally to get my money back?
Thanks!

Hello,
My ex-wife has already obtained a travel ban for my 7-year-old son, who has been living with me for more than two years without any support from her.
What should I do to get the travel ban lifted permanently? Should I file a custody case, and will it help?
How can I get full custody of my son, as his mother cannot properly take care of him?

What can I do if my tenant is not providing rent cheques nor responding to renew the tenancy contract? 0
Hi,
I am a landlord and need advice on the following scenario.
- The contract with my tenant expired in Sep 2024. Upon requesting the renewal, the tenant mentioned that she is out of the country and will sign the renewal contract and provide the rent checks. In the meantime, she paid the first quarter of rent through a bank transfer.
- After 3 months, when the next quarter's payment was due, she deposited the next quarter's rent into my bank but did not sign the contract renewal despite my follow-up with her multiple times. At this time, she had returned to Dubai.
- Now the next quarter payment is due, however, the tenant is not responding to WhatsApp or answering calls. She is NOT paying rent or renewing the contract.
What action can I take since she is not answering my calls or messages?
She does not have a valid contract or Ejari, and her rent is delayed by 1 month. All WhatsApp messages are delivered, but she chooses not to respond.
