What does "reserved judgment" mean in a court case?

Hi,

After my husband's first hearing, he is on reserved judgment.

What does this mean? Is it going to be the final judgment?

Thank you in advance!

Dear Questioner,

It is a judgment that is not given immediately after the conclusion of the hearing or trial.

A reserved judgment may be released days, weeks, or even months after the hearing.

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.

In the UAE, a "reserved judgment" means the judge has not immediately delivered a final decision after the hearing.

The judge will review the evidence and arguments before making a decision, and the duration can vary.
