Dear Questioner,

With reference to your inquiry, kindly be informed that the employer shall cancel the employee within a certain time after resignation/termination/expiry [of the employment relationship].

Otherwise, a fine will be imposed on the employer (and some other times "in very certain cases" the employee finds himself having no option other than paying the said fine by his own self in order to finalize the process).

Anyhow, in order to confirm the said time-period, you will need to contact AMER SERVICES on (8005111), and they will guide you perfectly in that regard.

However, I do believe that the said period is 1 month. It goes as follows:

  • After resignation, the employer does not transfer the employee's salary, which does appear on the WPS System.
  • The relevant authority contacts the employer to inquire about the reason for not transferring the salary of the employee (x).
  • The employer will say that the employee (x) has resigned.
  • The relevant authority will ask him about the reason for not cancelling him till date, and as a result, impose a fine on that employer, and sometimes, they hold his license for a while.
