Possibility of travel ban for an outstanding Etisalat bill

Hello Sir,

I have Etisalat unpaid bill amount of AED 2947 for the Last 5 months' bill.

Can I travel for vacation to Pakistan end of next month? I'm now in Abu Dhabi.

Dear Questioner,

With reference to your inquiry, kindly be informed that as per the given info, you shall be safe to travel whenever you want.

The Travel Ban requires a minimum indebtedness amount of AED 10,000 (which is unlike your situation).

However, if Etisalat has taken any sort of criminal legal action against you, that will definitely result in flagging your name on the borders, which will prevent you from travelling.

What I do recommend, is trying to contact Etisalat in a way or another, and paying them a bill or two, just to be on the safe side.

Kind regards,

Sherif M. ElKhatib

You can check if you have travel ban by providing us with the power to represent you before the police department.

You can do such power of attorney through the notary public in Abu Dhabi and send us the original.

We can perform the checking one day before your exit to make sure your name is clear for travel. Our fee is USD 400

Best regards,
