Deportation for communicable diseases such as TB
23
Q: I am N.R. and I was working in the UAE as a staff nurse in a hospital in Dubai. Now, I am in India due to deportation from the UAE. I joined the hospital on Aug 4 and went for a medical clearance.
After a few days, they called me for repeating the medical as my X-ray shows patch. I went for the medical at al Mohaisanah but they didn't take the X-ray. Directly, they asked me for sputum examination for three days and PPD test.
I spoke with the doctor that I got pneumonia in 2013. He told me to check the sputum and PPD test. I've done this and the result came negative.
However, after a few days, I got a report as an old TB and they deported me to India. I checked in India but all the reports are negative and I lost my job.
I need to go back to the UAE as my husband is there. Can you please suggest a solution for this?

Possibility of lifting a ban for old TB scars in the UAE
42
Q: Dear Maam,
Good day!
I am from the Philippines. I would like to seek legal advice regarding my situation.
Last March 2015, I went to Dubai to look for a job and fortunately I was hired by one of the companies in Dubai but unluckily the result of my medical exam was unfit to work due to my lung scar.
I was able to talk to the PRO of the company and ask him that if I can still apply for a new visa and he said YES. So I exited to Qesm, but before I exit to Qesm I did an iris scan.
That bothers me because the passport doesn't have a stamp of life banned. Since the PRO told me that it's ok to apply for a new visa I resumed to exit Qesm and wait for my new visa.
But what happened to me is a mess. The PRO told me on Viber that I was already banned in Dubai.
Is there any remedy to lift my ban? I really want to go back to Dubai. I hope you can help me, Ma'am.
God bless and more power.

Proving that lung scars are not related to TB after being banned
8
Q: Hi,
I went to the UAE in 2019 on a work visa along with my husband. During my medical fitness, they found scars on my lungs. I got a Quantiferon gold test done privately, however they didn't give me a chance to discuss and I was asked to leave the country within a month's time post a retina scan.
Considering that I couldn't stay in Dubai and didn't have a job in hand because my employer was insisting on leaving UAE in 4-5 days else their trade license could get revoked, I came back and re-settled in my home country India. I came back to India and got all my tests done.
I've never had TB - active or inactive. The lung scars are due to a completely unrelated condition called Sarcoidosis which is a non-communicable, auto-immune disease.
I am getting now job offers from Dubai again. If I want to apply again and try and apply for a work visa again, would the process be given that there has also been a rejection once?

Liability of daughter against the debts of her father 0
To whom this may concern,
I returned back to Australia after 10 years in Abu Dhabi in 2015. As I turn 18 this year in November, I plan on visiting friends who are in the UAE for about a month.
I would like to travel with them around the country freely without any prosecution from local officials.
My father had to leave the UAE in 2016 for health reasons and has unpaid debts in the UAE, Abu Dhabi specifically.
I would like to know and have it in writing if I would be able to travel freely to the UAE at the end of the year and that I am not liable for my parents' debts/problems as I have no legal responsibilities for their actions.
Kind regards.

Bounced cheque case for a loan after paying the fine 0
Hi
I have got a call from Dubai Police last week regarding my cheque bounce which I issued to the bank due to default on loan payment on time.
I paid a visit & they referred me to the prosecution & I got fine which I already paid and got clearance.
I want to know if the bank can still file a case against me & I still need to contact the bank for settlement or case clearance.
I am getting too many calls even after that, and the debt collector is actually harassing with the worst behaviour & back to back calls which actually ruined my personal life and put me in depression with high bp.
Thank you
