Hit pedestrian on service road: What should I expect?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I was driving on the service road, and a person crossed the main road and stepped onto the service road.
My car hit him by the side. and he fell down. As per the ambulance, the pedestrian will have to get some stitches. The ambulance took him to the hospital and the police took the report from me and the statement at the police station.
The police asked me to wait for them to call me. I'm waiting for a few days now and my whole family is extremely worried.
What are the possible consequences?

Hi,
Do not worry at all!
The police will only follow up to inform you of the court session you will have.
There will be a court hearing for you and then you will be fined an amount of 10,000 AED or less (probably less) if the injuries of the hit person are minimal (few stitches are considered minimal).

Dear Questioner,
You should arrange with him and finalize this issue and compensate him to drop the case; it is better for you.
