How to get a refund from a migration consultancy in Dubai?
Hello respectful Sir/Madam
I applied for migration to Poland through a consultancy in Dubai on December 28, 2022. They said I would get a work permit within 60 days, but it has been more than 6 months.
I now need my deposited amount back, but they are saying to mail customer care. I have receipts for payment and a fake offer letter.
Can you please suggest how I can get a refund legally?

Step 1: File a complaint against them with the Consumer Protection Department.
Step 2: Send them a legal notice to return your money in a week or months, as you like. You can file the notice yourself, but the notice through a lawyer's office, or through a notary public, gives the matter more seriousness.
Step 3: (If 1, 2 is not successful) The option would be to file a case against them in court. If the amount is less than 500,000, there is a stage of amicable settlement through the court. This step will be before the case is brought to the judge.
Note: If the problem is from the Polish authorities, you will not get anything.

(i) Lawyers to serve a legal notice and follow up with the other party consistently to settle the matter; or
(ii) To consult a lawyer and file a case in the court of the relevant jurisdiction.
