Will a GCC travel ban affect children's passport if I owe UAE bank debt?

Hi,

I owe a debt to a bank in the UAE that I am not financially able to repay at this time. I am receiving messages that I will have a GCC travel ban on my passport.

My young children were attached to my visa. If I receive a travel ban, will it also apply to their passports?

Dear Questioner,

Of course not.

Your children are not responsible for your cases.

Is there a way to help resolve the travel ban (if there is one)?

I have received a job offer in the UAE and would like to return to pay the debt.

First, make sure you have a travel ban, then you can ask how to remove it. The travel ban is for more than one reason, and the reason must be known first.

Thank you, sir!

Hi

Pursuant to your query, the travel ban will only be limited to you, not to your kids.

Please note that the Travel Ban is a personal penalty. This means that only the person who has the travel ban applied is to be affected by the penalty.

So, your family members whether first, second, or third degree may not be affected by the travel ban.

In other words, your family can travel freely as long as their records are clear and they are not subject to any other crimes investigation or conviction.

Best regards
