I have unpaid bank loan and credit cards in the UAE. How can I settle it before I go back?

Hello There,

I am a bank defaulter. I had a bank loan and credit cards in the UAE. Due to a job loss in 2009, I had to leave the UAE.

My intention was to repay the amount and I did pay for some time until I was misguided by the bank employee.

I have a job offer now and wish to go back to Dubai again. I can't afford to pay in one go but small EMIs.

Kindly advise.

Dear User,

For starters, you can conduct a check in the UAE to see if the bank has filed a civil case against you and whether or not you have a travel ban.

Once the results are out, we suggest hiring a lawyer to negotiate with the bank on a repayment installment plan.

Regards.

First, we must know the cases filed against you, and then we can contact the bank to settle the loan and pay the installments.

If the bank has not filed a case against you, and no judgment has been issued against you, you can come to the UAE and then negotiate with the bank.
