Drive or fly for UAE company registration: Can I enter with a saudi residence visa?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am in the final process of opening a company in Abu Dhabi and currently living in Saudi Arabia on a residence visa.

Once the company registration is complete, I will apply for a UAE residence visa for myself.

My question is whether I can drive my car and enter the UAE with the residence invitation, or if it is mandatory to travel by air.

Thanks, but I'm not asking if I can drive in UAE, I'm asking if I need a visit visa to access UAE via road or if I can finish my entry paper on the border using my employment visa or (إذن دخول).

Usually, how much time will it take to convert the employment visa to a residency, and the process, please?
