Personal injury claim against a massage therapist
I'm 34 y/o.
A massage therapist at a 4-star hotel manipulated my neck with subsequent severe pain that lasted for 1 week, then a chronic mild pain & some stiffness in my neck & shoulder for a year.
The MRI revealed neck arthritis & my job as a physician is partially affected by the indecent.
Can I sue them in such a case?
Hello,
As per the UAE laws, you can seek compensation against the hotel for the injury caused by the therapist in the course of the treatment.
At this point, I am assuming that the clinic is a part of the hotel and that it is not a separate license.
In any case, you have 3 years to sue for damages provided that all the medical reports, physiotherapy receipts are available in original format.
