I have unpaid debt in Saudi Arabia and have been contacted by TAHSEEL. How is that possible?

Hi,

I have unpaid debt in Saudi Arabia and have been contacted by TAHSEEL to say that there are now travel restrictions for me.

Are these travel restrictions only applicable in GCC countries or do they include European Countries?

It does not affect your travel to European Countries.

For a more accurate response on GCC countries, I would like to understand the case better.

What do you need to know?

I worked for a company in Saudi Arabia, I had to set up a bank account and get an Iqama so they gave me a bank account and two credit cards.

When my wife had her accident I used credit cards to live (As I couldn't work). I didn't have the money to repay them. I had to stay home and take care of my children.

Is that enough information?

I do not intend to ever come back to the Middle East. I don't actually intend to travel, it's just I thought I'd ask in case I could ever afford a holiday again.

I would like to inform you that, you will have a travel ban only in that GCC country that has levied a ban upon you.

Not sure how you received a call from Tasheel, UAE.

Anyways, we can check the police system if you have your old Emirates ID/visa. It will cost you AED 300.
