Abu Dhabi, UAE

A company showed interest in my CV posted online. How to know if it is real or fake?

I posted my CV to work in the middle east on a job site in the gulf. Last week, I got an email claiming from a general hospital in Abu Dhabi.

They showed interest in my CV. All emails were from free accounts (gmail.com address).

I received an offer of employment asking me to sign and contact and return the signed copy and cc AL HILAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM LLC-UAE to arrange my visa and work permit.

Is this a legit job or a scam?

I have the letter.

Dear,

Kindly note that we have checked the UAE national register and could not find any company registered under "AL HILAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM LLC".

Furthermore, if they are sending emails from a non-registered business email then most likely it is not a legit job offer.

If they require you to pay for visa costs then that is also against the law, proving further it is a scam.

Regards.

You can use the job offer number to verify the validity of the application through the website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Inquiry Services – Application Status).

After you sign the job offer, your employer will send you an electronic entry permit for the purpose of work so that you can enter the country.

Hi,

Pursuant to your query, it is very difficult to comment if it is legit or not.

However, receiving the offer letter without any interview, you need to be more vigilant and careful.
