How to update the name on the visa after changing it on the passport?
Hello,
I am from India. I changed my first name due to personal reasons and completed all the necessary procedures (Gazette, newspaper publication), and updated my name in my passport.
I need to get my name changed on my visa (sponsored by the company).
They are asking me for the educational certificate with the new name for a managerial visa, which is not easy to get.
Another option is to get an unskilled visa which is a hassle as travel is restricted with that visa grade.
Could someone help me with what to do?

Please be informed that you can submit your existing educational certificates along with the supporting docs for visa purposes.
In order to justify the name change, the gazette publication or "one and the same" certificate (if any), can be attested by the MEA and UAE embassy in India & MOFAIC in the UAE and be attached with the certificate.
