The size of an apartment is changed after paying 90% of its price

I bought an apartment. I paid 90% of the total amount. In the final stage to receive the apartment, the size was different and I asked many times about this issue, but no one answered.
Now, they tell me that they took it without any reason.

As per your query please note that if you find it before the handover, then you can speak with the developer to provide you with a discount on the property.
If the area is reduced due to the common area then you have to check whether the deduction is for other apartments as well.
You have to check, the percentage which has been taken from the original contract as assured by the developer.
