Good day,

Hope all is well.

The landlord has the right to increase it if he did an evaluation and it came higher than the current rent.

Additionally, he has a limit as per the court from 5 to 20% only from the current rent you are paying.

If you need further questions, please contact me.

Hi S.,

As per the law, either party needs to notify the other if they want to make any change in the terms of the contract.

If the same is not done, the contract will be renewed at the existing terms and conditions.

You have the right to reject the increase because it did not meet the specified date and the contract is renewed without an increase.

Thank you.

Is the term for the landlord to inform about the increase specified anywhere in law/decree?

In our addendum to the contract, there is only the responsibility of the tenant to inform the landlord at least 3 months prior to the expiry of the decision to renew or vacate the property.

This is in accordance with the Tenancy Law and not in accordance with the special contract concluded between you.

Thank you for the response!

And what is the term for making changes in advance as written in Tenancy law?

3 months?
