Lifting a labor ban for failing to complete a limited contract
Hi Atty.,
I just want to ask a piece of advice regarding my 1-year labour ban which my previous employer applied because I didn't finish my 2-year limited contract with her for a reason that she is not giving my salary for 2 months.
I was working in her salon as a manicurist for 11 months, and now I have an offer from a company as an accountant with a salary of 5000.
Is it possible that my ban will be lifted? What should I do?

With reference to your inquiry, kindly be informed that the Ban can be lifted for several reasons, which do include getting an offer letter with a higher salary (only under certain conditions).
I do recommend contacting the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE) via phone and they will definitely guide you through the whole process (if possible).
You can just google it and you will easily find their phone number.
